The birds are back in town. The sun is shining now more than ever. The snow is melting. Wonderful. Wonderful. A wondrous Spring is upon us!
As your body emerges from hibernation, we put together some flowery-hibiscus-kind-of-pointers to make the welcomed transition a little more easy breezy...
1. Clean Up.
Tidy your space, and clear your mind. Out with the old, and in with the upcycled, better version of your space. Shred outdated files. Sort mail. Vacuum behind the couch. Spruce up your table with a daisy floral arrangement, real or faux will do.
2. Create a Colorful Plate.
Pile your plate high with veggies, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. Now is the time that many transition from soups and stews to salads, veggies w/ hummus, and/or tabouli. Remember that water is your friend...and, fuel. Aim to drink at least 64 ounces of water everyday.
3. Get Clear.
What do you want the most out of this season? Is it love, more money, to build something new, spend more time with your longtime pal? Make a list, and the intention to commit to the items on your list....and, on your heart.
4. Take Time for You.
Book your acupuncture appointments at the beginning of the month. Sign up for LifeStream's all-new monthly wellness program (can we get an ahhhhmen?). Take a long bath. Read a book. Pray or meditate quietly in a beautiful space.
5. Get Outside.
Play more, do yoga in the park, take your kids to a local, outdoor ball game. Go for a brisk run. Walk around the lake. Drive with the windows open. Soak in nature's antidepressant - Vitamin D. And, feel...so....much...better.
