Katharine Stewart, L.Ac
M.S., Licensed Acupuncturist, L. Ac, Former Clinical Dean, Educator, Presenter Katharine Stewart Katharine Stewart is a licensed Acupuncturist and a practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine with over thirty-two years of experience. She graduated from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture. She is board-certified through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is licensed by the Minnesota Medical Board. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Arizona State University, and a Master’s degree from the University of Arizona in Climate Science and Solutions. Kate discovered the healing power of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine when she was dealing with health issues that western medicine couldn’t alleviate. She overcame her fear of needles (seriously!) and got her health, and her life, back. After such a life changing experience, she started acupuncture school soon after and has been in practice ever since. She treats people of all ages, including children, for conditions such as muscular-skeletal pain, sports injuries, colds and flus, immune system imbalances, allergies, fertility challenges, gastrointestinal imbalances, anxiety and much more. In addition to her private practice, she was also the Clinical Dean at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, where she also was a senior professor and a clinic supervisor teaching acupuncture students for over ten years. She was voted “best acupuncturist “ by the Santa Barbara Independent. She appeared on Sonoran Living Live, a Phoenix TV show, and was featured in Sedona Monthly Magazine. She was a regular presenter for the Road Scholar program on health and wellness. She also taught Do-It-Yourself Chinese medicine techniques for wellness and healing at a Community College in Oregon and was a guest speaker on the Conference of Healthy Aging as well. She is committed to sharing her passion, knowledge and experience of the healing power of Chinese medicine and other natural healing modalities such as Reiki, meditation, the law of attraction and a positive mindset to create health and wellness in the mind, body and spirit. |

Michal Arasevi, L.Ac.
M.S., Licensed Acupuncturist Mike Arasevi Mike Arasevi is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with over 4 years of experience, as well as a graduate of Northwestern Health Science University, where he received a Master's degree in TCM and herbs. Mike is a board-certified Acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is licensed through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Additionally, Mike is a graduate of Inver Hills Community College, where he earned an Associate of Arts. To complement the TCM system, Mike also became certified in the first two levels of Craniosacral therapy, which is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine where the body may be holding on to tension in the central nervous system. By tuning into this, the body is guided through natural motions to provide relief, resulting in a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health. In a clinical setting, Mike has had experience treating a number of different conditions, including neurology, digestive health, body pain, medication side-effects, sleep issues, women's health, migraines, sinus issues, and overall wellness. Going forward, Mike would like to further explore the link between mental and physical, especially digestive, health. Mike has a passion for changing the world by helping one person at a time, through TCM, positive psychology, and promoting a healthy lifestyle, so that the ripple effect of their good health may influence those around them. In his spare time Mike loves to read, go rock climbing, learn about anything and everything, spend time outdoors with friends and family, and explore music. |
